Slot Footnotes is funded by affiliate commissions. This page explains exactly how that works.

Affiliate links on this site lead to the official homepage or registration page of each listed operator, with a tracking parameter appended to the URL (typically something like ?btag=... or &affid=...). This parameter lets the operator attribute the registration to Slot Footnotes. Links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code, as required by search engine and regulatory guidelines.

What affiliate arrangements do not influence

No operator pays to appear on this site. No operator can pay to improve their score, change their written assessment or alter their position in the comparison. The criteria, weightings and editorial decisions are determined by us alone. If an operator we list changes its product quality — for better or worse — the assessment will be updated to reflect that.

Commission structure

Commission is typically paid as a revenue share or cost-per-acquisition, depending on the operator's affiliate programme.
